Prepared September 8, 2026

Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use the Stasheroo web beta. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Stasheroo.

Pre-release legal status

These terms reflect the current beta's behavior, but the operator's legal identity and governing jurisdiction have not yet been added. Stasheroo support is a placeholder name; inbox ownership and formal operator/legal review remain pending before public signups. This is not approved launch copy.

1. The current service

Stasheroo is a free beta for creating inventory records, organizing them into collections, optionally uploading an image while creating an item, and sharing a collection through a public read-only link when you choose.

There are currently no paid subscriptions, billing features, mobile applications, team accounts, or public API offering. Beta features, limits, and data formats may change as the product develops. We will not charge you unless pricing is introduced later and you separately agree to the applicable purchase terms.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be legally able to agree to these terms. If local law requires consent from a parent or guardian, you may use Stasheroo only after that consent is provided.

You are responsible for using an email address and sign-in provider you control, keeping access to that account secure, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access. Do not share authentication links or credentials. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless it results from a failure within the service that you could not reasonably prevent.

3. Your inventory and attachments

You retain your rights in the item records, notes, images, and other content you add. You give Stasheroo a limited permission to host, copy, process, display, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service according to the Privacy Policy. This permission ends after deletion and the applicable object-storage, backup, security, and legal-retention cleanup has completed.

You must have the right to upload and share your content. Do not rely on Stasheroo as the only copy of an important receipt, ownership record, insurance record, legal document, or other information you cannot afford to lose.

New uploads through the current web flow are limited to JPEG, PNG, and WebP images. Existing document attachments may remain available for viewing or download, but new document uploads are not currently offered.

4. Public share links

Collection share links are public bearer links. Anyone with the full URL can view the shared collection without signing in and can forward the URL. You decide whether to create a link and what information belongs in that collection.

Each collection has one active link. Creating or replacing a link returns its raw URL once; later state reads do not reveal it. You can rotate or revoke the link from the dashboard. Revocation prevents new access through that collection link, but a time-limited attachment URL already issued to a viewer may remain usable for up to 60 seconds. Do not use public links for secrets, credentials, identity documents, payment details, health information, or other material that should not be available to every recipient.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use Stasheroo to:

  • break a law or infringe another person's rights;
  • upload malware, unlawful material, or content you are not allowed to use;
  • harass, deceive, threaten, or harm another person;
  • probe, bypass, or interfere with authentication, access controls, or limits;
  • access another account or private inventory without permission;
  • scrape, overload, disrupt, or misuse the service or its providers; or
  • resell access or falsely represent that Stasheroo endorses you or your content.

Reasonable security research is welcome only when it avoids accessing other people's data, disrupting the service, or publishing exploitable details before there has been a reasonable opportunity to respond.

6. Availability, changes, and backups

The beta is provided without a service-level commitment. It may be unavailable, contain defects, lose features, or change without preserving compatibility. We may restrict a feature or stop the beta when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, provider changes, legal compliance, or product development.

We will try to communicate material planned changes when practical, but we do not promise uninterrupted service, a particular feature set, or permanent storage. Keep independent copies of important content. Backup and deletion-ledger retention periods are not currently promised and await formal operator and legal review; there is no automatic expiry commitment for those records.

7. Third-party services

Authentication, hosting, database, and object-storage providers support Stasheroo. Your use of Google sign-in is also subject to that provider's terms. We are not responsible for an independent provider's products, policies, or availability, although we remain responsible for our own handling of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Suspension and account deletion

You can start account deletion from Account settings. The service first records a durable deletion tombstone, blocks further access, requests deletion of the related authentication identity, and queues storage cleanup. Cleanup workers retry failed object and metadata work, so removal is eventually consistent rather than immediate. Contact support if you need follow-up for uploaded files. Provider backups, security logs, and legally required records can also remain for their normal retention periods.

We may suspend or end access when reasonably necessary to protect accounts or the service, respond to a legal requirement, or address a serious or repeated violation of these terms. When practical and safe, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to contact support.

9. Stasheroo materials and feedback

The service software, design, name, and other Stasheroo materials belong to their respective owners and are not transferred to you. You may use the service only as these terms allow. If you voluntarily send feedback, we may use it without owing payment or creating an obligation to implement it. Your inventory content remains yours.

10. No professional advice

Stasheroo organizes information you provide. It does not verify ownership, condition, replacement value, tax treatment, insurance coverage, or legal sufficiency. It is not legal, financial, appraisal, accounting, or insurance advice. Confirm important facts with the appropriate professional or original record.

11. Warranty and liability limits

The beta is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not make implied promises about merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, or preservation of data.

To the extent permitted by law, Stasheroo is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for lost profits, business, opportunities, goodwill, or data arising from use of the beta. These terms do not exclude or limit rights or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited.

12. Resolving concerns

Please contact us first so there is an opportunity to resolve a concern informally. Email contact@stasheroo.app. Nothing in these terms prevents you from using a court, regulator, consumer authority, or other process available under mandatory local law.

13. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the beta changes. The date at the top will change when a revision is prepared. Before launch, the final terms must identify the operator, governing jurisdiction, and effective date. If a later material change affects current users, we will provide an appropriate notice in the product or by email. Continuing to use Stasheroo after approved revised terms take effect means you accept them; if you do not, stop using the service and delete your account.

Questions about these terms can be sent to contact@stasheroo.app.
